La Cava Cakery
It’s no secret that Andrea’s been obsessed with La Cava Cakery since they opened just a little over a year ago. It’s clear why — what’s not to love about their brilliant pairing of cupcakes, cava, and coffee. Never one to let a sweet treat go unexplored, her strategic visit to pick up cupcakes for the popular Catalan holiday, Sant Jordi, did not disappoint. The rose cupcakes in the store window display gave all entering an instant shot of love and happiness. The owner, Aisling, had her hands full of cupcakes and the store bustled with activity. A return trip on a different day to pick up two dozen cupcakes for a teen birthday party also did not disappoint. So it was no question where to have February’s meet up to celebrate Valentine’s Day!
